Big Pinot

Quails’ Gate 2005 (B.C.)
At a whopping 14% alcohol, this is no small Pinot. Leafy, earthy, and ripe cherry aromas more or less mask the ethanol smell, while we expected a sip would light out tongues on fire. It didn’t. Quite smooth and drinkable.
